Description
Bucephalandra are a genus of flowering rheophyte. Resembles Anubias very much and should be treated the same way. One of the captivating aquatic plants in the market. Does best at lower light and Co2 levels and is very easy to grow. The leaves are of a very dark green colour. Size of leaf is 2-4 cm wide, 4-6 cm long and usually it has wavy edges. You will need rocks, driftwoods, or a large grained substrate to plant Bucephalandra. If you want quicker growth and better coloration you will need medium-to-high light.
