Stargrass is a beautiful aquatic plant and easy to grow under moderate to high light.  This is a fast-growing plant, therefore requires pruning to keep it under a certain size.  Pruning also helps to make sure enough light reaches the lower leaves.  In an open aquarium, small blue flowers may show up if some shoots are allowed to spread on the surface.
